6 Checks Before You Send a Wedding Album to Print
October 16, 2026
Before ordering your wedding album, check the final changes, album choice, safe areas, lab settings, latest export and delivery timing.

The album looks good and you’re ready to order. Before you send it to the lab, take one last look. Here are six things worth checking.
1. Check the final changes
Make sure your client’s last requests are included in the version you’re sending. Read names, dates and cover text once more, too. It’s much easier to fix a typo now than after the album arrives.
2. Match the design to the order
Check the lab, album range and size against what you’re ordering. Similar-looking products can have different specifications, so use the settings for that exact album.
3. Look closely at the edges
Keep faces, text and important details inside your lab’s safe area. Check the cover and spine separately. If Spreadu flags a risky edge, give it a closer look before exporting.
4. Let Spreadu handle the lab settings
Spreadu automatically uses the specifications required by your chosen lab. Just make sure you’ve selected the right lab and album before exporting.
5. Open the files you’ll actually send
If you’ve changed the design, create a fresh export. Download the latest completed files and check the spread order, photographs and any cover artwork. Make sure you’re uploading those files, rather than an older version sitting in your downloads folder.
6. Check the timing
Confirm the order cutoff for your product and delivery address, especially around Christmas. Allow for file checks and shipping as well as production. If a delivery date matters, check it with the lab before promising it to your client.
Spreadu keeps your export history together, so you can find the finished files for the version you want to print.
