Inside Spreadu: Online proofing just got a lot better

Hey, we just made the proofing experience in Spreadu better than ever before. This is one of those updates that makes album revisions feel completely different.

Until now, if a client wanted to swap a photo in the album, it usually meant an email. Or a screenshot. Or a message saying something like, “Can we change the photo on the left side of the spread where we’re walking?” which sounds simple, until you realise there are three spreads where they’re walking and nobody knows which left side we’re talking about anymore.

We decided to fix it. Now, when your client is viewing their album proof in Spreadu, they can simply click Replace, choose another image from their gallery, and swap the photo directly inside the proof.

They don’t need to explain it badly. You don’t need to guess. And a tiny image change doesn’t have to become another email thread sitting in your inbox.

You still stay in control of the album and the final design, but your clients can now handle simple photo swaps in the place where they’re already reviewing the album. It makes proofing faster, clearer and much less annoying for everyone involved.
